## Summary

The NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership, hosted by Velindre University NHS Trust, is seeking to implement a new "Suicide Prevention Pilot Service" aimed at adult residents in Gwent experiencing acute life crises such as relationship breakdowns or bereavement, who do not qualify for existing mental health services. This procurement is currently at the Tender stage, with an open procedure, inviting submissions electronically by 23rd March 2026 at 12:00 PM. The service falls under the health sector, and the contract period is set for 360 days with potential for renewal, subject to pilot success. The total contract value is £41,666.67. Key contact is available at their Cardiff office, and detailed documentation is accessible via the eTenderwales portal.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses with expertise in providing supportive health services, especially those with experience in crisis intervention and mental health support. Organisations that can demonstrate the capability to deliver high-quality psychological support services efficiently would be well-suited to apply, particularly those familiar with navigating the requirements of public health partnerships. Given the focus on non-urgent psychological crises, organisations with innovative approaches in mental health that can work synergically with existing services stand to benefit substantially by participating in this tender opportunity.
