## Summary

The procurement process involves NHS Lothian, which is seeking to engage stakeholders for the "Re-provision of RHSC and DCN" project, aimed at delivering new facilities for the Royal Hospital for Sick Children and the Department of Clinical Neurosciences. This project falls under the health industry category and is located at the Little France site, next to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. The procurement method used is selective, specifically through a competitive dialogue process, and the contract has recently been awarded, though to an unsuccessful bidder. Key dates surrounding this process include the initiation date of 11th November 2020. Interested suppliers can find additional details and requirements outlined in the Information Memorandum and Pre-Qualification Questionnaire via Public Contracts Scotland.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses involved in construction, facility design, and non-clinical management services, particularly those with experience in healthcare infrastructure projects. Firms offering expertise in energy centre delivery, Information and Communications Technology infrastructure, and facility maintenance would be well-positioned to compete for future opportunities. Additionally, the open nature of the procurement process allows for diverse participation, making this an ideal venture for innovative companies looking to support the healthcare sector in Scotland.
