Lot 1

The Contract comprises the construction of a new build police hostel comprising eight ensuite bedrooms, two of which will be wheelchair accessible, a common lounge area and a kitchen dining area. The building will be of timber frame construction. Ground works will include excavation to ground bearing material, construction of concrete strip foundations and surface water and foul sewer runs. The hostel will be a traditional insulated timber frame with masonry and render outer leaf. Internal works will include plasterboard linings and finishes, mechanical and electrical fittings and sanitary fittings. There will be some associated external works, drainage works and external services. There will be several areas of Contractor's Design in the works.
