## Summary

The procurement process led by Castle Rock Edinvar Housing Association pertains to the "Castle Rock Edinvar Subcontractor Framework" aimed at securing reliable subcontractors for high-quality repair works in the social housing sector. Located in Edinburgh, this project falls under the services category and follows a selective procurement method via a restricted procedure. This contract is currently in the award stage, having been initiated on February 26, 2020, although it has been noted as cancelled. Interested parties should have been prepared for the tendering process under tight timelines, although specific deadlines for submissions are not detailed.

This tender presents opportunities for businesses specialising in multi-disciplinary services within the housing and community amenities sector, particularly those with expertise in joinery, plumbing and heating, electrical, and roofing works. Companies with a proven track record in delivering similar contracts, strong customer service capabilities, and the ability to ensure compliance with regulations would be well-suited to compete. Although the contract is no longer active, understanding such procurement processes can aid businesses in preparing for future opportunities in the social housing environment.

## Notice

CRE require the providers to work with us to provide a quality, consistent service and to have an understanding of our values. The successful Applicants will also be required to demonstrate a proven track record on delivering similar type contracts along with providing sustainable competitive pricing throughout the term of the contract. The Applicant must have excellent customer service and be able to provide a dedicated account management. The work will be grouped into the 2 Lots and the estimated total lot values are provided in the PQQ Documentation. It should be noted that all values are indicative and do not represent any guaranteed volume of business through this contract. The postcodes where these works have been completed in the last year are provided within document 4 but it should be noted that these postcodes are not exhaustive and CRE do work in other similar areas. A stock map for CRE has also been provided for reference in the accompanying documents The work streams covered in each of these lots will be all encompassing as CRE seek to work with partners who are multi-discipline and not trade specific. However from the spend analytics and the data provided in documents 3, Joinery, Finishing, Plumbing and Heating, Electrical and Roofing will be the predominant work streams but Glazing, Externals and Brickwork will be required in smaller volumes. It is not essential that a company provides all of these services but it is advantageous.
