Following assessment of the submitted ESPDs, we will receive tenders from shortlisted bidders and conduct one stage of negotiation. We cannot Lot this project as we wish to appoint a single supplier due to project complexity. Bidder's must self-certify their adherence to selection criteria via the ESPD. Suppliers may be required to submit appropriate means of proof at a later stage as listed in Regulation 61 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015. The University reserves the right to request bidders to submit a final clarified offer post negotiation. Please see Sections II.2.4 and II.2.9 for more information.

Lot 1

We wish to appoint a Main Contractor to undertake refurbishment works at Holland House, part of the Pollock Halls Estate. Works will commence during January 2017 with a phased refurbishment completing in July 2018 as follows: Phase 1 Block A and C refurbishment plus main infrastructure works throughout: Jan to July 2017 - 82 rooms and 2RA Flats plus 6 pantries Phase 2a Part Block B refurbishment: Sep to Dec 2017 - 125 rooms (including 6 twin rooms) and 1 Wardens Flat plus 10 pantries Phase 2b Remainder Block B refurbishment: 08 January - 31 January 2018. Phase 3 Block D refurbishment: Feb to July 2018 - 138 rooms and 2RA Flats plus 9 pantries Please find further description information in Sections II.1.4 and II.2.9 of this Contract Notice.
