## Summary

The University of Strathclyde is seeking to establish a Construction Consultancy Framework Agreement aimed at delivering integrated project teams over a period of four years, with a total anticipated construction value of between GBP 70 million and GBP 100 million. This tender falls under the services category, specifically within the education sector, and the procurement method follows a selective procedure. The submission period concluded on 8 September 2016. The projects will primarily take place in Glasgow, UK, under the coordination of the Estates Management team.

This tender presents significant business growth opportunities for small to medium enterprises, particularly those specialising in architectural and engineering services, as well as larger firms capable of handling high-value projects. The framework encourages collaboration between external service providers and the university's internal teams, promoting a partnering ethos which may lead to ongoing contracts. Businesses with experience in delivering complex projects in the education sector are particularly well-positioned to compete for the various lots outlined within this framework.

## Notice

The University seek to award a Framework Agreement to consultants by "Lot", who can demonstrate the experience, technical ability and reliability coupled with cost effective pricing to allow the provision of integrated project teams to deliver streams of investment within the University. External Service Providers will be expected to work as an outsourced extension to the Estates Services team and in a partnering ethos with Contractors and project stakeholders. Project team member appointments will be on an individual basis to the University and an integrated design team will be formed for each project. The anticipated total "net construction value" of the projects that will be delivered by the Framework over the full four year period is GBP 70 - 100 million. This figure is estimated based upon anticipated projects with a high degree of probability and an estimate of additional projects that are likely to arise during the term of the framework based upon historical activity.
