Outreach Services to engage with hard to reach unemployed people aged 20+

The purpose of the project is to engage hard to reach unemployed people aged 20+ who have at least two additional barriers to employment and to improve the skills, motivation, confidence and employment opportunities of participants. The outcome is the reduction of barriers to employment resulting in improved access to employment and reduced social isolation, exclusion, poverty and disadvantage of participants. Participants will progress from one stage of the Orkney Employability Pipeline to a more advanced stage through the support provided by the service.. The contract value includes the ESF funding and the matching funding requirement for the first 27 months of the contract up to 31 December2018 and also an estimated amount of the same value for the remaining option to extend for a further 2 x 12 months subject to avaiability of funding.
