## Summary

The Strathclyde Partnership for Transport (SPT) has recently concluded a procurement process for the "16-088 Bus Shelter Maintenance and Bus Stop Components call off contracts." This procurement falls under the Transport industry category and is located in West Central Scotland. The process included an open procurement method, with a tender stage that officially opened on 20th October 2016 and concluded with contract awards made on 27th February 2017. The contracts pertain to the maintenance and repair of bus shelters owned by Glasgow City Council and the supply of bus stop components necessary for the operation of over 11,300 bus stops managed by SPT on behalf of several councils. The total contract value is around £780,000.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses in the maintenance and supply sectors, particularly those with experience in public service contracts. Contractors adept in repair services, component provision for public transport infrastructure, and those with a proven track record of working within a public sector framework would find this tender particularly relevant. With the potential for variance in components and ongoing maintenance contracts, businesses with the capacity for adaptability and reliability will be well-positioned to compete and grow through this procurement opportunity.
