## Summary

The Highland Council, acting through its Procurement - Finance Service, is initiating a tender titled "Interpretation Services Framework" aimed at establishing a Framework Agreement for the provision of face-to-face interpretation services. This procurement falls under the services category and affects the Highlands and Argyll and Bute area in the UK. The tender process utilises an open procedure and is currently in the active stage. Proposals for this contract are due by 30 September 2016, with the contract expected to commence on 16 January 2017 and remain valid until 31 January 2020, with potential for a 12-month extension upon mutual agreement.

This tender represents a significant opportunity for businesses specialising in interpretation services, particularly those able to deliver both face-to-face and telephone interpreting. Companies with experience in public service contracts, robust insurance cover, and a commitment to adhering to health and safety standards will be well-positioned to compete. Additionally, organisations involved in social support services, such as advice agencies, may find this Framework Agreement particularly beneficial, as it encompasses collaborative opportunities with the Highland Council, NHS Highland, and other local entities.
