The contractor must have a minimum of six (6) vehicles available to operate this lot. As the client group can include disabled and/or less mobile older adults, we have specific requirements for the vehicles that can be used: - at least two (2) vehicles must be suitable and/or adapted to meet the needs of people with disabilities e.g. wheelchair accessible; also, - if saloon vehicles are proposed, they must have a front swivel seat. The services can be required up to seven (7) days per week. Currently, core pick-up times are between 9.15am and 10.30am and drop-off times between 2.30pm and 4.30pm, however due to increased demand, the services may be required outwith these times.. A single contractor will be appointed to this lot according to tender rank. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 58 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015.
