## Notice

Aberdeen city Council's Economic Development team, with support from other partners within Communities, Housing & Infrastructure, have submitted a successful application for European funding to provide increased employability services and positive outcomes across the city. This project will establish and develop a strategic employability pipeline in Aberdeen which will improve the co-ordination of service provision, and ensure that those clients in need of support will receive local tailored support designed specifically to address their individual needs.

### Lot Information

Neighbourhood Audits

The Provider will be required to deliver neighbourhood audits within the 5 identified regeneration areas of the city, (Middlefield, Torry, Woodside, Seaton and Tillydrone) each year for the first 2 years of the strategic intervention. This process will investigate the wide ranging reasons for economic inactivity and barriers to participation, whilst offering referral to appropriate support agencies if applicable and also onto the ESF funded strategic intervention.

Key Workers

Key workers will be required to support individuals through the initial engagement stages, action plan development, service referral, through to the ongoing development and modification of action plans to ensure progress at an appropriate pace and route through the employability pipeline. Where appropriate key workers will also provide support to those in the initial stages of employment.

Service Provision

Aberdeen City Council require a wide range of engagement, training and development services which will deliver against the priorities within stages 2, 3 and 4 of the Scottish government's employability pipeline, and support clients towards employment, improved employment, further or higher education.
