We wish to appoint a Consultancy firm to consider the adequacy of our current arrangements for managing the records we hold and ensure that they are organised, stored and managed effectively and disposed of appropriately at the right time. We wish to consider what additional work we may need to do in order to be confident that our approach to information governance fulfils our current statutory obligations, including obligations under the Data Protection Act 1998 (and prospective obligations under the General Data Protection Regulation). We also wish to put in place arrangements to ensure that our arrangements for information governance generally, including records management, are reflective of good practice in that sphere.
