When required, such services would be undertaken by a partner carrier. The buyer is using PCS-Tender to conduct this ITT exercise. The Project code is NP799-16. ### Lot Information Lot 1 Provision and management of distribution services from the NHS Scotland National Distribution Centre at Canderside, 2 Swinhill Avenue, Larkhall, ML9 2QX (NDC) to health bodies in Scotland. The NDC has been created to break bulk and supply products to all NHS Scotland departments. The current managed transport service provider has circa 26 staff and employs upwards of 23 units of equipment (8 of which are directly owned by the Authority): this equipment includes both Rigid and Articulated Vehicles (including Double-Deck trailers). To facilitate the current service the Management Transport Services operation is staffed Sunday 22.00 to Friday 22.00, whilst the transport operation is live from 18.00 on a Sunday until 04.00 on Saturday. The majority of deliveries are currently conducted on a radial distribution fleet.
