Employment support and next step support for people with a learning, physical and or mental health issue including in work support

This support is designed to assist adults with learning, physical into employment. The project will also support those mental health barriers to employment. Additional support will be necessary for those beneficiaries to move more effectively into a learning environment that supports access to employment and sustains that move. MEP is the bridge that supports beneficiaries whilst making the transition through increased confidence, communication skills and personal attitudes to support them to move into training, further study and/ or employment.

Barrier Free Fund including Child Care

This fund will complement the work of the other projects. It will provide flexible support to remove immediate barriers to securing or sustaining employment, learning or training. For example assistance with after school club deposits, short term child care or assistance with other immediate barriers to employment.

Parents/Carers - Intensive Matching and Support

Beneficiary group are individuals who are parents or carers. The provider is required to: - Understand and identify appropriate activity needs of beneficiary group, identify appropriate pathways. - To improve the educational levels of carers currently experiencing exclusion - Increase participation and achievement in acquiring skills to improve employment prospects in appropriate sectors which match with existing caring responsibilities To ensure parents and carers have access to support for vocational training learning and job opportunities
