## Summary

The Scottish Enterprise is conducting an open tender for the "Innovation Expert Support Framework" aimed at establishing a framework of three suppliers to deliver expert innovation consultancy support across various key sectors. This procurement is classified under the services category and targets the Scottish operational areas, excluding Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE). The submission deadline for tenders is set for 12 January 2017, with the award notification indicating a total contract value of £690,000. The primary location for service delivery must be within Scotland, and the procurement initiative aims to engage suppliers capable of assisting businesses with potential innovation projects that could lead to new product or service developments.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses focused on innovation consultancy, particularly those specialising in technological, engineering, and digitally enabled services. Ideal candidates may include firms with strong experience in fields such as product design, commercialisation, and business development, enabling them to provide comprehensive support tailored to diverse industry needs. Additionally, businesses that can demonstrate a capacity to guide clients through the complexities of innovation-related processes—ranging from market analysis to regulatory compliance—would be well-suited to participate in this framework, thus driving growth and expansion in their respective sectors.
