This will include supporting the management of contracts which provide fibre broadband beyond commercial rollout, as well as providing technical, commercial and procurement support for future projects. It will also be responsible for overseeing the management of the Connected Communities network and its integration into the wider Scottish Government/ Digital Highlands and Islands Next Generation Access (NGA) initiatives. It will also include the day to day management of a Field Support Services (FSS) "Technical Support" supplier, contracted by HIE under a separate agreement to the Connected Communities network.

### Lot Information

Lot 1

These services will be delivered from May 2017 for a period of 3 years, unless terminated in accordance with the provisions of the Contract, with HIE having the option to extend for a further one year period. This contract was not divided into Lots since this would make the execution of the contract excessively technically difficult. The total value referred to in II.1.7 and V.2.4 is the estimated value over 4 years.. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in Regulation 58 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015. Bidders will also be required to list, in so far as they are known, the subcontractors they propose to use.

Options: HIE may require the supplier to provide additional services. Any such modification shall be in terms of Regulation 72 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015.

Renewal: This contract will be awarded for 36 months with an optional 12 month extension.
