At the heart of the MIS system are pupil and staff records which are maintained through functional modules that support key business processes such as enrolment, attendance, timetabling, assessment and wellbeing. With appropriate data sharing agreements in place necessary information is provided to strategic bodies responsible for the education direction in Scotland including ScotXed and SQA. SEEMiS is seeking to co- develop a Next Generation MIS solution that will better support local authorities in this digital age.
