Lot 1

Expressions of interest are invited to provide primary medical services under a General Medical Services Contract or Primary Medical Services Agreement at a new practice located at Newtongrange, Midlothian. The provider will need to grow the practice list up to circa 5,000 patients. This is an excellent opportunity to improve health outcomes and NHS Lothian would welcome applications from interested parties that will deliver high quality primary medical services responsive to the needs of these patients. As well as delivering essential services, the successful provider will be expected to offer a range of additional and enhanced services.. It is a requirement that all applicants meet the criteria of section 17L of the National Health Service (Scotland) Act 1978, as amended. Interviews are expected to be held on Friday 24th February 2017. Please ensure you are able to attend this date.

Renewal: The successful bidder will be expected to commence practising at a mutually agreed time following contract award which is expected around the end of February 2017. There is no fixed term applicable to the awarded contract. The contract duration of 60 months used in this notice is for illustrative purposes only.
