NHS Orkney intends to make an award to one successful Contractor who will act in the role of Prime Contractor for the supply of the Products and associated services. The successful Contractor shall assume full responsibility for the supply of the complete Product and associated services.

Oral surgery, standard surgery, 2 x oral hygienist rooms - dental chair, cuspidor / nurses unit chair mounted, dental cart for 2 locations in each surgery, ceiling mounted LED dental light (total quantity of 3), suction motor with amalgam separation. NHS Orkney intends to make an award to one successful Contractor who will act in the role of Prime Contractor for the supply of the Products and associated services. The successful Contractor shall assume full responsibility for the supply of the complete Product and associated services. The Award is expected to be made in 2017 with delivery and installation in late 2018. If the chosen equipment is replaced by a new model or upgraded features during this time, bidders will be required to offer NHS Orkney a choice of their chosen model or the new model at the same price. The location of the floor box and services to the chair must remain the same. If this location changes and the floor has been completed, any remedial work will be undertaken by NHS Orkney at the expense of the Contractor.
