## Summary

The University of Edinburgh has concluded a procurement process for the position of a Design Team for the Strathclyde Rowing Centre, which falls under the education industry category. Located in Edinburgh, UK, this project was initiated through a selective procurement method with a restricted procedure. The contract was awarded on 14th July 2017, with a total contract value of £86,400. Notably, the winning supplier, Loader & Monteith Architects Limited, was selected after a competitive process that saw seven bids submitted for consideration.

This tender offers significant opportunities for businesses specialising in architectural and engineering services, especially those with experience in educational or sports-related projects. Firms that demonstrate a commitment to sustainable procurement and Fair Work Practices will be particularly well-suited to compete for such contracts. The appointment of a Design Team reflects the University’s dedication to enhancing facilities, thereby presenting contractors with the chance to contribute to the development of key community resources, such as the new boat storage facility at Strathclyde Country Park.
