## Summary

Dumfries and Galloway Council is seeking to deliver youth support services across the Dumfries and Galloway region through a completed procurement process titled "The Provision of Youth Work Services." This open tender was focused on the general public services sector and aimed at enhancing youth engagement and support for vulnerable populations, with specific projects requiring service delivery in the Upper Nithsdale and Wigtownshire areas. The procurement concluded with contracts awarded to Dumfries YMCA on 26 April 2017, valued at £46,666.67, and to LGBT Youth Scotland on 21 March 2017, valued at £44,997. Both contracts have been successfully signed and are currently active.

This procurement presents substantial opportunities for organisations engaged in youth services, especially those with expertise in mobile outreach or youth work targeted at marginalised groups, such as LGBT youth. Companies that provide training and support services tailored to youth development, particularly in rural or deprived areas, may find this an advantageous area for bidding. Engaging with the projects under this framework can significantly aid in expanding reach and enhancing service offerings to diverse youth demographics across Dumfries and Galloway.
