The overall project will be procured under 2Nr separate contracts which will be let to the single Contractor who provides the best offer on a quality/price basis for the overall project i.e. the combined total of the 2Nr contracts. The contracts will be as follows: Contract Nr 1 Type: Traditionally based SBCC Contract with Bills of Quantities Client: The Highland Council Scope: 30nr dwellings and associated plotworks together with the complete infrastructure works for the whole project. Contract Nr 2 Type: Design and Build based SBCC Contract. It should be noted that at this time it is anticipated that Planning Permission will be granted prior to issue of the tender documents with Building Warrant approval being granted during the tendering stage. It is the intention to novated the Design Team to the successful contractor.
