North Lanarkshire Council has a requirement to appoint a suitably qualified contractor to the Council's Measured Term Contract for Swimming Pool Plant Inspection, Servicing, Maintenance & Repairs 2017-2020. Tenderer's should be aware that the following information is an introduction to the requirements and that a full specification is provided within the contract documents. . The service scope comprises: . Cyclical inspection, servicing/reporting on a twice yearly basis, maintenance and repairs to all plant, equipment, and components within the operation of Swimming Pool Installations at 7 no. sites within the geographical boundaries of North Lanarkshire Council identified within the Contract Documents. . This contract may also be used, in certain circumstances, in relation to the non-housing corporate property portfolio including properties which are the responsibility of the council's Arms Length Organisations (ALEO's). . Ad-hoc priority coded repairs and safety checks when instructed. . All major and minor routine repairs and renewals including pool tiling as instructed and the provision of a 24 hour emergency call-out and repair service. . The majority of the buildings will remain in occupancy and furnished during the currency of the instructed Orders and the Contractor will be held to have allowed for all necessary precautions for the protection of the occupants and the buildings and contents from his operations.
