Lot 1

ng homes have set up a Direct Works department (ng2) to carry out the landscape Maintenance Works to their portfolio of tenanted and managed properties and open space areas in the north of Glasgow Specialist works contractors will be required to carry out some portions of the maintenance works. The purpose of this Invitation to Tender is to procure a Framework of between three and five specialist contractors capable of carrying out their tree removal and remediation works. The Framework is for a two year period with the option to extend for a further two years on a yearly basis. Costs are to remain firm for the two year duration of the contract. A schedule of rates representing the most common types of tree works which have been required over the last three years as part of the landscape maintenance works is provided to allow Bidders to provide a price in competition with all interested parties. A quality section is also included to ensure the appointed contractors have sufficient knowledge, skill and experience to carry out these works in an efficient and effective manner with due regard for health and safety at all times.
