## Summary

The procurement process involves the Common Services Agency (NHS National Services Scotland) seeking suppliers for a framework agreement titled "Cardiovascular & Respiratory Medicines." This procurement falls under the goods category within the health industry and is located in Edinburgh, Scotland. It is currently in the Tender stage, with the closing date for submission set for 24 April 2017. The procurement method employed is an open procedure, and the total estimated value of the contract is approximately £22,123,563, covering a period of 24 months with a possible extension of 12 months.

This tender presents significant opportunities for pharmaceutical and healthcare companies, especially those specialising in generic medicines for cardiovascular and respiratory conditions. Businesses that can demonstrate adherence to regulatory requirements, such as possessing a valid UK or EMA Marketing Authorisation and ISO certification, will be well-positioned to compete. With the potential to supply various medicines, including injectables and inhalers, suppliers should consider bidding for specific Lots based on their product capabilities to secure contracts with the NHS.
