### Lot Information

Lot 1

The works comprise the following: Asbestos Removal-Asbestos containing residues and debris are present within ceiling voids throughout the School. These remain from an asbestos insulating board ceiling tile removal carried out approx. 20 years ago. Drawing ref 31793-X-Programme has been colour coded and identified as A-H to show planned works and timescales. Asbestos removals are required within ceiling voids in areas C-H. These materials must be removed prior to the electrical rewiring works. An asbestos removal Contractor (appointed by the Principal Contractor) will be required to work in conjunction with the main electrical Contractor & Renfrewshire Council's proposed programme of works. Electrical Works-This shall consist of, but not be limited to, Isolating and stripping out the existing electrical installations as indicated, there placement of the electrical LV switch board and final distribution board infrastructure, provision of new containment, new general, emergency and external lighting through-out, the updating and migration of all small power systems, new CCTV system and fire alarm system modifications/alterations, induction loops, testing and commissioning, associated Builder's work and making good. Ceilings-This generally comprises the removal of suspended ceilings, including grid, hangers, trims and tiles (by Asbestos Contractor)and replacement with new suspended ceiling systems(by Principal Contractor).
