Lot 1

The contract is for the provision of an electrical rewiring Contract for approximately 90 properties to 31st March 2018. Evaluation of the tender documents was as follows: Stage 1: Prequalification Submission and assessment of Pre-qualification Questionnaires to identify a shortlist of contractors who passed the thresholds. Stage 2: Tender Quality For those who passed the pre-qualification thresholds, Tender Quality Questionnaires were scored in accordance with the marks stated in the TQQ. Stage 3: Priced Tenders For those who pass the pre-qualification thresholds, the priced Contract and Tender Document submitted was checked and corrected where necessary. The [corrected] contract sum was used for price/ quality evaluation. Stage 4: Price/ Quality The tender comprised the Contract Sum at Schedule 2 and the quality score from the Tender Quality Questionnaire. The criteria for scoring was to reach a total percentage score as follows: Price (tender)- deducting 1% from 100 for every percentage point each tender is in excess of the lowest tender, prior to weighting. Quality- in accordance with the criteria and marks stated in the TQQ, converted to a percentage prior to weighting. Price/ Quality percentage scores were evaluated on a 40% tender price/ 60% tender quality basis to determine the total score and the preferred candidate contractor.

Options: Options to extend the contract solely at the Employer's discretion on an annual basis to 31st March 2022. Potentially there are a further approximately 95 replacements to be made during 2018-19; 117 replacements to be made during 2019-20; and 114 replacements to be made during 2020-22.
