East Renfrewshire Council is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to undertake the refurbishment of the wet side area, gym changing area, pool plant and reroofing at the Barrhead Foundry. The works involved in the successful completion of this contract are as follows:- 1. Wet side Changing Area - minor structural works, floor, wall and ceiling finishes together with plumbing, mechanical and electrical works, renewal of changing cubicles , lockers etc. 2. Poolside Area - Floor, wall, and ceiling finishes together with a new lighting scheme, provision of natural daylight (Sun pipes) over pool area, associated ventilation and heating works. 3. 1st Floor Gym Changing - minor structural works, floor, wall and ceiling finishes together with plumbing, mechanical and electrical works, renewal of changing cubicles , lockers etc. 4. Pool Plant Areas (Basement and 1st floor) - Mechanical and Electrical Services installation 5. Roofing Works - Insulated single ply roofing installation together with sun pipe installation and roof mounted ventilation ductworks, associated roof penetrations/structural work and fascia cladding works.
