Specifically this equipment will be required when the wheel lathe is installed as the rail cars will be shunted onto and off the wheel lathe. A small and manoeuvrable, manually driven, electric powered road/rail rail car mover capable of moving up to a 65tonne, 4 car train set a distance of up to 100m on a maximum adverse gradient of 1 in 500 (including allowances for change/future proofing as a result of new rolling stock)
