## Summary

Glasgow City Council is undertaking a procurement process for the project titled "Intelligent Street Lighting Design, Install LED's & Supply, Install, Manage CMS and Wireless Network". This initiative, classified under the goods category, includes the procurement of approximately 3,500 LED lanterns along with a web-hosted Central Management System (CMS) for managing the city's lighting. The tender is in the active stage, with a deadline for submissions set for 10 May 2017, and must be completed by December 2018. Interested parties should note that the procurement method is selective, using a restricted procedure.

This contract presents a significant opportunity for businesses specialising in LED technology, software development for management systems, and installation services. Companies capable of providing scalable solutions for smart city infrastructure, particularly those with experience in managing large-scale installation schedules, would be well-suited to compete. Additionally, contractors who can demonstrate compliance with the Balance and Settlement Code for Central Management Systems will have a competitive advantage in this tender process.
