The open process was used whilst procuring the two High Quality Digital Camera systems. This ensured fairness and transparency allowing all companies to bid. The aim for this requirement was to procure a variety of required formats and accessories along with the two Digital Camera systems, with the Digital Imaging Unit (DIU) expanding and our current cameras coming to the end of their expected lifespan, the University took the approach of moving the current camera system from a multi-shot to a single-shot environment, this was proven that the University would still be maintaining the high standards which are currently being achieved by the DIU Unit.
