## Summary

The procurement process for the "Provision of PVC and Luer Lock Syringes" is being conducted by The Common Services Agency, also known as NHS National Services Scotland, located in Edinburgh, UK. This procurement is categorised under the health industry and is in the award stage, having been initiated through an open tender process. The main contract activities relate to the supply and delivery of specific medical items, with the tender closing date reported as 10th May 2017, and the contract awards anticipated shortly thereafter.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses in the medical supply sector, particularly those specialising in the manufacturing and distribution of medical syringes and catheters. Companies that have the capability to supply high-quality, CE-marked medical devices, with a focus on latex-free and sterile products, will be well-suited to compete. Potential suppliers should also demonstrate their capability to manage stock and deliver on tight timelines, as well as having the necessary certifications like ISO 13485:2003 to comply with NHS standards.
