The solution must therefore be capable of managing Clinical Biochemistry, Haematology, Blood Transfusion, Microbiology and Cellular Pathology information across all three acute hosiptal sites. A variety of staff will be expected to use the system in some including laboratory users and laboratory service manager as well as clinicians whop require web browser access to laboratory results. NHS Lanarkshire is looking to implement a new Laboratory Information Management System. It is therefore essential that suppliers can demonstrate and evidence how their system can be used in the settings described above.

Renewal: We will consider letting a 10 ten year contracts with breaks at 5 years and 7 years or a 5 year contract with extensions of 2 or 5 years.
