## Summary

The procurement process concerns the Provision of Family Support Service targeted at families affected by substance misuse in the Forth Valley area, led by Falkirk Council. This project falls within the services industry category and has a budget of £123,480. The procurement method is an open procedure, currently at the award stage, with the contract being signed on 20th July 2017. The successful tender will provide support to individuals dealing with the impacts of substance misuse, allowing them to develop coping strategies. Interested parties have until 29th June 2017 to submit their bids in response to this initiative.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in social care, counselling, and community support services, particularly those experienced in addressing substance misuse issues. Companies with a background in providing family support services or community health initiatives would be well-suited to compete, especially if they have demonstrated relevant experience and possess adequate financial stability as outlined in the tender submission criteria. The potential for service renewal after this initial contract period also offers a pathway for ongoing engagement with the councils involved.
