Objectives: - Improve the long-term operational resilience and safety from the approach and taxiway edge lighting systems, - Ensure the installation of a system compliant with relevant EASA Certification Specifications and associated Guidance Material - Improve the cost efficiency of approach and taxiway edge lighting, - Eliminate the risk of water ingress into the lighting systems through installation of electrical equipment meeting the appropriate Ingress Protection standards (i.e. IP68) - Ensure the equipment within the operational surface protected areas (RESAs, strips etc.) meets the requirements of the relevant EASA Certification Specifications and associated Guidance Material (I.e. delethalisation, frangibility, etc.) -
