The Trust wishes to commission Evidence Briefings and linked Evidence Review Papers related to enabling improvements in quality of life and wellbeing across a range of inter-linked thematic areas.

### Lot Information

Lot 1

The Trust requires provision of Evidence Briefings and linked Evidence Review Papers on each of the themes below (see supporting documents for further information). a) How empowering individuals supports their quality of life and wellbeing and how individual empowerment can be effectively enabled. b) How loving/caring/supportive relationships enhances people's quality of life and wellbeing and how such relationships can be effectively enabled. c) How inclusive and supportive communities can enhance people's quality of life and wellbeing and how such communities can be effectively enabled. d) How person-centred support and services can enhance people's quality of life and wellbeing and how such support and services can be effectively enabled. e) How "systems change" can enable transformational and sustainable improvements in people's quality of life and wellbeing. Two types of output are required for each of the above themes: Evidence Briefing(s) Briefings providing a critical overview of key evidence and knowledge gaps, including reference to: - human rights and equality - early action and prevention Evidence Briefings for themes (a)-(d) must make reference to: - the general population, including key life stages (childhood, young adulthood, middle and older age) - special needs (e.g. physical or mental impairment) - Trust beneficiary groups if there is relevant research. It is anticipated that Evidence Briefings will be in the region of 20-40 pages of A4 (excluding references) though this would be discussed at the time of appointment. Evidence Review Papers (required for themes (a)-(d) only) Papers critically outlining findings from published research and knowledge gaps relating to the Trust's beneficiary groups: - care experienced young people - people with dementia - unpaid carers of people with dementia. The length of these papers will be determined by the availability of relevant research and will be discussed further following appointment. Evidence Briefings and Review Papers must be written in clear, accessible language and be fully referenced (Harvard-style). Applicants may tender for the delivery of one or more Evidence Briefings and Review Papers in any theme or sub-theme. We welcome collaborative tenders.
