In proving this functional requirement all centrally controlled rooms will also be in line with the current University standard. Part of this provision includes new fit- for- purpose audio visual equipment which is imperative to deliver the level of experience expected of a world leading University. The cost effective audio-visual package is based on client expectations, budget, University AV standards and innovative technology to compliment teaching and enhance the student experience. The University of Edinburgh Information Services Group has an operational requirement to provide quality facilities for use by both staff and students. The purpose of this tender is therefore to: To determine best value and quality based on the supplied equipment specification and quality questions. Continue to provide resilient, reliable services Minimise support costs and ensure the University is achieving value for money. To create an agreement, this will result in the University nominating a sole contractor.
