## Summary

The Scottish Government is initiating a procurement process for IT Peripherals, with a planned collaborative framework intended for use across the public sector in Scotland. This procurement, classified under goods and with an estimated value of between £10 million and £25 million, is currently in the planning stage. Located in Glasgow, the project aims to establish a framework covering categories including General IT Peripherals, Audio Visual Equipment, Desktop Printers, and Network Equipment. The deadline for submitting responses to the Request for Information (RFI) is 14 July 2017, and interested parties are encouraged to engage early to prepare for this upcoming opportunity.

This tender presents significant growth opportunities for businesses specialising in IT peripherals and related services. Companies capable of providing installation services or catering to eProcurement systems will find this project particularly relevant. The framework’s scope suggests a demand for suppliers who can deliver a diverse range of IT products and support services, fostering a competitive environment where innovative solutions will be essential. Suppliers should also be prepared to manage interactions via secure online ordering and traditional communication methods to meet the needs of the public sector.

## Notice

Scottish Procurement intend to establish a Scottish collaborative framework for the supply of IT Peripherals and supporting services. The new framework will build on the success of the current framework and scope is likely to cover 4 main categories of General IT Peripherals; Audio Visual Equipment; Desktop Printers; Network Equipment and all services associated with the deployment of these categories.

### Lot Information

Lot 1

Scottish Procurement intend to establish a collaborative Framework for the supply of IT Peripherals and supporting services. The new framework will build on the success of the current Framework and scope is likely to cover four main categories of General IT Peripherals; Audio Visual Equipment; Desktop Printers; Network Equipment and all services associated with the deployment of these categories. Services may include, but will not be limited to, the installation of whiteboards, desktop printers or networking equipment. The success of the current framework has been driven by the implementation of an eProcurement environment such as a punch-out site, bespoke web pages, and a secure online ordering portal. For those organisations that do not have their own eProcurement system, Contractors must provide access to a secure online ordering portal (website), and the ability to place orders by email, telephone, post and fax. The refreshed IT Peripherals framework will form part of a wider portfolio of ICT Products Frameworks which are available to the Scottish public sector, designed to support the Digital Strategy for Scotland titled "Realising Scotland's full potential in a digital world: A Digital Strategy for Scotland".
