Lot 1

SCRIM survey of Angus Council 'A' class roads in both directions 2017. less than 40mph 35.5kms; greater than 40mph 139.6kms; dual less than 40mph 2.4kms; greater than 40mph 15.1kms, i.e. Total of 420.2 lane kms Cost per lane km to be provided. The charge to include all work associated with the SCRIM survey including, - route building - SCRIM survey - data verification and validation - data fitting to Angus Council network referencing system - calculation of seasonal correction factor - Supply of data in format for direct loading into Angus UKPMS system. - Supply results so can be shown in pictorial form (colour) so that Angus Council can see where network meets/does not meet default investigatory levels and is able to determine by how much. Confirmation of all aspects of the SCRIM survey on the roads in Angus will be managed using third party accredited Quality Management System and Health & Safety Management System or similar approved. The certifications of registration to be attached. SCRIM survey vehicle to be used that has successfully passed the most recent annual SCRIM accreditation trials organised by TRL. A copy of this year's SCRIM accreditation certificate to be enclosed. With reference to "Supply results so can be shown in pictorial form (colour) so that Angus Council can see where network meets/does not meet default investigatory levels and is able to determine by how much" stated in the tender. We require SCRIM deficiency/ excess information in a graphical format e.g. red (less than 0.1 below Investigatory Level), amber (0.1 below Investigatory Level to Investigatory Level) and green (greater or equal to Investigatory Level). To enable this, the supplier will have to assign Site Categories to each length of carriageway so that the deficiency or otherwise can be determined.
