## Summary

The City of Edinburgh Council has launched an Open Framework Agreement for the Pupil Equity Fund, which aims to facilitate additional funding allocation to schools as part of the Scottish Attainment Challenge programme. The procurement process, classified under the services category, is currently complete and took place in Edinburgh. The procurement method employed is an open procedure, with a significant total contract value of £4 million, focusing primarily on educational support services. Key lots include Activity Based Learning, Clubs, and Counselling Services, among others. The contract was signed on 20th November 2017, and the aim is to assist schools in addressing the poverty-related attainment gap.

This tender represents a prime opportunity for businesses specialising in educational support services, including providers of after-school programmes, mental health counselling, and creative engagement activities. Organisations capable of delivering services that enhance pupil engagement and learning through innovative methods, such as outdoor learning and mentorship, would be well-suited to compete for these contracts. With a strong emphasis placed on value for money and quality service provision, this procurement process presents the potential for significant business growth within the education sector in Edinburgh and beyond.
