## Summary

The City of Edinburgh Council is seeking technical management support for the ECO Stars Fleet Recognition Scheme, aimed at promoting good environmental practices among vehicle fleet operators. This open tender process is currently in the active stage, with a submission deadline set for 18th September 2017. The contract is expected to be accessible to all local authorities across Scotland, with an award period commencing shortly after the tender's closure. The procurement category falls under services, specifically targeting general public services and environmental practices.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses that specialise in environmental consultancy, fleet management, or sustainability services. Companies with substantial experience in supporting local authorities, particularly those with a track record of promoting environmental standards, will find this contract particularly aligned with their expertise. Additionally, the requirement for a minimum turnover of £2.5 million could mean that mid-sized to larger firms are better positioned to compete for this contract.
