The successful contractor must have the resource to complete the requirement within this timescale. - Carpets must have a minimum lifespan of 3 years subject to normal wear and tear. Customers are to be allowed to choose from 3 colours of carpet - grey, green and blue. - Carpets must be fit to a professional standard and include the fitting of carpet bars where required. - If there are existing carpets in the properties, these must be uplifted and disposed of. - On completion of each job, all excess materials and any other debris must be removed from the property and left in the condition in which it was found. - The successful bidder will be required to provide samples of the proposed carpets, which will be used by River Clyde Homes' Housing Officers to show potential tenants. Keys for each property to be carpeted must be collected from RCH's Customer Services department at Roxburgh House, Greenock and then returned immediately after carpets have been fitted.
