## Summary

The Scottish Police Authority has recently awarded a contract for the provision of Soft Facilities Management Services, covering 326 sites within the Police Scotland area. This award follows a tender process initiated on 1 April 2018, with the contract effective until 31 March 2023. The contract, with a total value of £25,600,000, was conducted under the Crown Commercial Services FM Services Framework Agreement (RM1056) and incorporates the NEC 3 Term Service Contract. The procurement focused on the provision of services such as cleaning, catering, and security, crucial for the operation of facilities associated with policing across Scotland.

This tender represents a significant opportunity for businesses specialising in facilities management, catering services, cleaning, and security solutions to engage with a major governmental body. Companies that have experience in managing comprehensive facilities across multiple locations would be well-positioned to compete for this contract, especially those looking to expand their footprint within the public sector. Suppliers capable of providing tailored services to meet the diverse needs of a major organisation like the Police Scotland are encouraged to leverage this opportunity to enhance their business growth.
