The successful tenderer will be responsible for providing this service and will be required to liaise closely with Fife Council staff. Tenderers are to provide a 2 year partly-managed monitoring service for Fife Council to review Single Person Discounts for Council Tax. This contract will entail the successful contractor reviewing a list of approximately 43,000 Fife residents who are claiming single person discounts from Council Tax and matching this list against credit file data held with credit reference organisations. From this analysis the contractor will then write to the residents whose circumstances they suspect have changed and ask them for a fresh declaration of single person discount entitlement.
