Craigend Resource Centre is committed to delivering improved facilities and in support of this, there is the need to establish a strong collaborative relationship with a consultant team capable of servicing the potential redevelopment project throughout all stages from feasibility and option appraisal through to detail design and contract completion. Currently, however, CRC is not in a position to enter into an agreement for full consultancy services for the entire project, but in the short term they need to engage professional assistance to define the project brief; consult further with stakeholders and the community; refresh the Business Plan; and produce a scheme to RIBA stage 2, Concept Design (including costs), to a suitable level of detail and scope to meet the requirements of applications to major funders, in particular the Big Lottery Community Assets programme.
