Recently the team was awarded additional funding for the further development and prototyping of an enhanced, closer to market, SLIC device. ### Lot Information Lot 1 The Gillespie Research Group have been developing a Scattered Light Integrating Collector (SLIC) for 2 years and progressed through six separate prototypes. The founding technology is subject to patent applications (WO2016/128747) and is under development as a rapid clinical laboratory testing device for antibiotic susceptibility testing (AST) to address the global threat provided by antibacterial resistance. Designed by the research team with external assistance, and built by an external contractor, our most recent SLIC prototype (v6) is our first multi-well benchtop machine.
