Lot 1

Expressions of interest are invited to provide primary medical services under a General Medical Services Contract for approximately 7,880 patients at the East Craigs Medical Practice Edinburgh, unless the Applicant proposes otherwise. The board are currently in discussion with the current practice about securing the premises for future use. The successful applicant will contract with the Board to occupy the premises. This is an excellent opportunity to improve health outcomes and NHS Lothian would welcome applications from interested parties that will deliver high quality primary medical services responsive to the needs of the patient population. As well as delivering essential services, the successful provider will be expected to offer a range of additional and enhanced services.. It is a requirement that all applicants meet the criteria of section 17L of the National Health Service (Scotland) Act 1978, as amended. Interviews are expected to be held on 23rd October 2017. Please ensure you are able to attend this date.

Renewal: The commencement date for the contract will be agreed between the successful bidder and NHS Lothian, but the current expectation is that the contract will start on 1st December 2017. There is no fixed term applicable to the awarded contract. The contract duration of 60 months used in this notice is for illustrative purposes only.
