The consultant will work collaboratively with representatives of NES, HFS, HPS and NHS boards through a stakeholder engagement group to update the original script for the Domestic Services DVD. These require to be aligned and updated with NHS Scotland policies, guidance and best practice in healthcare. The DVD will not be reproduced but the scripts will provide the basis for filming including work activities and practices to enhance the spoken word. The video clips will be hosted on NES, HFS and NHS boards website. The consultant should have significant knowledge and experience of infection prevention and control and ideally be working in infection prevention control in Scotland for a period of 5 years. A recognisable qualification is advantageous with a minimum of post graduate certificate in infection prevention and control. The consultant must have experience in the delivery and development of infection prevention and control education, preferably on national level, and include writing content for education resources at NHS board or national level.
