### Procurement Information

In addition to the economic case for negating any new setup, resource, training and infrastructure costs of a replacement solution, a technical case can be made in line with Regulation 33 (1) (b) (ii) of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015, as WPC Software Limited is the sole developer of this specific software solution and is the owner of the IPR (Intellectual Property Rights) for the Core Vet solution. WPC has not licensed any other company to provide licencing, support or professional services for this product and therefore, in order for Police Scotland to continue its use of the product and services, WPC Software Limited is the only supplier capable of providing this.
