## Summary

The Highlands and Islands Transport Partnership (HITRANS) is undertaking a procurement process for the project titled "Inverness ERDF Smart City: Smart Mobility - Supply and Installation of Smart Bus Stop Units." This initiative falls under the transport sector and is located in Inverness, UK. The procurement method is an open procedure, and the current stage has reached the award phase as of 3rd January 2018. The project involves the installation of smart bus stop units that will enhance public transport communication with features such as Quick Response (QR) codes and Near Field Communication (NFC) tags. The budget for this project is approximately £104,309. Interested businesses should have relevant experience in similar projects to participate successfully.

This project presents significant opportunities for businesses involved in the supply and installation of transport infrastructure, particularly those with expertise in smart technology integration. Companies specialising in smart city solutions, transport communication systems, and public transport installations would be especially well-suited to compete for this tender. The capacity to provide contemporary bus stop infrastructure alongside an understanding of integrating smart technologies will be crucial for potential suppliers seeking to leverage this opportunity for growth within the public transport sector.
